Therapy is a space for big feelings, hard conversations, and laughing at ourselves when we can. I like to form connections with folks that feel supportive, brave, and most of all, REAL. Healing happens in community. I know therapy is going well when I see folks begin to step out in new ways and take risks to develop deeper bonds. I’m interested in how our pain and stress is linked to the stories we’ve internalized about ourselves and our communities. I find it fruitful to explore how past and intergenerational traumas show up in current relationships, and I’m active in session as part of my relational style. I also help folks befriend their bodies as an important resource.
I work with folks of all identities, but I specialize in offering queer, kink, poly, and gender-affirming therapy for LGBTQ+ folks and their loved ones. I am sex-positive, fat-positive, and as a white cis queer woman, I base my work on a foundation of lifelong learning. I pair particularly well with those who want to join in on the journey to root out coloniality and racism in our lives and spirits.
