Greetings, I am a holistic, anti-oppression psychotherapist and culturally attuned hypnotherapist
I work with:
* ‘woke’ warriors wounded by white supremacy (economic, societal, family, and workplace toxic stress)
* intergenerational trauma between mother/daughter relationships
* religious/spiritual harm and injuries
* social phobias (social anxiety, performance & test anxiety)
* internalized forms of oppression: including the unrelenting inner critic & perceived imposter syndrome.
I received a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Temple University (1991) and a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Clark Atlanta University School of Social Work (1993). My work is rooted in anti-oppressive practices and informed through a liberation-focused healing lens. It centers on the healing traditions and cultural nuances of people who have been historically marginalized.
