Jessica Linick, PhD, SEP
I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, currently practicing in New York City. I specialize in working with trauma and other stress disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety), particularly intergenerational, developmental, chronic, racial, complex, or relational trauma, as well as with those who experience marginalization or systemic oppression. In addition, I often work with those who identify as Highly Sensitive People, and those committed to, or just starting, their anti-racism and anti-oppression journey. In addition to my clinical training, I am a mindfulness and movement facilitator, recognizing the vital nature of involving our bodies in healing, as well as a sound, Reiki, and yoga practitioner. I am committed to ongoing practices of liberation and joy, and readily incorporate these into sessions.
Outside of my practice, I am the Director of Youth Services for the Lionheart Foundation, a non-profit focused on empowering systems-involved, trauma-impacted populations through transformative social-emotional curricula. I have significant experience bringing trauma-informed care into the criminal legal, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems.
